Well I made up a sheath a little while back for the old Collins hatchet. I was going to use brown or black, as usual, but then a bright yellow piece of leather caught my eye from the scrap pile. I haven't lost an axe mask yet, but I have set them down and spent longer than I'd care to admit looking for them from time to time. So I thought that yellow would be hard to miss. So I made up the cover. It's not quite as nostalgic as the earth tones but I'll use it and hopefully not lose it, ever.
Thanks for looking
Looks nice. Definitely shouldn't lose it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe.
DeleteNot going to overlook that one in the grass!
ReplyDeleteYeah. The only place I got to thinking it might not be the best if fall leaves if there's a lot of yellow leaves down. But still would be stand out better than dark colors.
DeleteWho cares what it looks like as long as it works! I like it for what it worth. Good stuff! - Chris
